Junk Food is Harmful to Childs

 Today, junk food businesses are highly growing in the food industry to a great extent, with each huge food chain generating multibillion dollar revenue, creating thousands of employment opportunities.





Both adults and childrens having habit of eating fast food and it becomes a part of modern lifestyle, due to fast and busy schedule womens are not get sufficient time to make food at home results in health problems. Most of nutrition experts is constantly reminding us that most fast food is bad for health due to higher fat, salt, oil. Fast food often could lead not only to weight gain but also to other medical problems.
          Physical activity is also essential for children of all ages, and regularly eating junk food does not provide the necessary nutrients children need for sufficient energy to engage in physical activity. A lack of physical activity is harmful to physical and mental well being and may also exclude a child from critical social development.






Unhealthy Food(Junk Food):

Good health is the necessity of living a healthy life for every one of us which needs to maintain a healthy diet and healthy habits throughout the life. Unhealthy food, commonly known as junk food. ‘Junk’ means useless. It contains unhealthy ingredients such as sugar, salt and saturated fats. The most unhealthy food are generally include snack food, fast food and sugar drinks that includes pizzas, chaat,vada pav, bhajiyas, samosas, burgers, frankies, french fries, rolls and wraps. Many of these snacks contain high amount of salt which could worsen high blood pressure.



Unhealthy fast food is also commonly believed to cause obesity, diabetes, and other chronic health conditions. Difficult to find healthy foods, contribute to the growing consumption of fast food meals and increase the population risk of obesity. Parents should train their kids about eating habits from childhood and make them clear about the differences between healthy and junk foods.



Bad Effects of Junk food:

1.  Digestive Problems:
The oil soaked in junk food gets deposited on the walls of the stomach lining and increase acid production. Spices loaded in them irritate the stomach lining creates digestion problems.

2.   Stress:
A rich fat meal can increase a stress level and make you at a greater level of stress in comparison to those who have a low fat meal. Certain foods and drinks act as powerful stimulants to the body and hence are a direct cause of stress. 

3.    Fatigue And Weakness:
If you eat junk food items for all your meals of the day over a period of time, you could be suffer from chronic fatigue. Junk food can lower your energy levels to an extent that it may become difficult for you to even perform your daily tasks.

4.  Fluctuations in blood sugar levels:
The levels of blood sugar drop suddenly after you eat. This makes you feel irritable and further increases you craving for more junk food.



5.    Affects the brain function:
A study wants Brain, Behavior, and Immunity but in junk food these are not getting. So, the affect on brain is very critical. Studies have also shown that fats from junk food slow down the ability to learn new skills.

6.  Increases the risk of heart diseases:

Junk food items are loaded with more fats. The more weight you put on  the higher your risk of suffering from heart attack.
7.    Kidney Diseases:

The reason behind kidney Diseases is high amount of salt in    chips, fries etc. The kidney have to filter all the toxins from the blood, eating a lot of junk food has a direct effect on the kidney functioning.

8.    Damage a liver:
In junk food, Some of the foods have alchohol. It is directly harmful on liver.

9.    Increases a risk of cancer:
Lack of fibre is the main reason why junk food consumption is linked to an increased risk of cancers for digestive system.

Precautions and Suggestions :



1.    Don’t bring junk food at home


2.    Serve your child mainly healthy snacks, such as fruits and vegetables

3.    Build Healthy Meal- No fats, sugar, oil

4.    Find Alternatives instead of junk food
