Homeremedies for eye care


Eye is most important thing from overall body part. Without eyes all of our life is darkness. The eyes are wonderful sense organs. They help us to learn about the world. Eyes see all of things big or small, near or far, smooth or textured and colors. When we look at an image the eyes focus on it and the light rays enter the eyes through the iris. This is then focused on the cornea or lens of the eye. Then the image is transmitted into brain, which tells us what we are seeing. All this activity needs the coordination of both the structures of the eyes and their muscles.



     1.      If you work with hazardous materials on the job or at home wear safety glasses or protective goggles every time. Safety glasses may have prescription lenses or non-prescription lenses.

2. Dip a cotton pad in a cup of water overnight. Strain this in the morning and add 1 cup of plain water to this. Splash the eyes with this water or wash them with the help of an eyecup.

      3.    Apply a thin coat of castor oil on the eyelashes and eyebrows every night. It strengthens eye lashes and cools the eyes.

4. Regularly apply oil mixed in glycerin to your eye lashes and eye brows to keep them dense and dark.

5. Take a vitamin diet to make eyes brighter such as papaya, eggs, fish, milk etc. Wash eyes with cold water to get sparkling eyes. 

      6.   Almonds, raisins and figs contain the high amount of fiber and vitamins in these fruits helps speed up the digestive processes and helping in resolving eye related problems. Soak six to ten almonds, fifteen raisins and two anjeers overnight in some water. Eat them on an empty stomach in the morning. 

7. To reduce puffiness of your eyes, Crush a cucumber and take the juice. Add a little rose water and apply around the eyes and wash it after 20 minutes.

      8.    Position your computer so that your eyes are level with the top of the monitor. This allows you to look slightly down at the screen. Every 20 minutes, rest your eyes by looking 20 feet away for 20 seconds. At least every 2 hours, get up and take a 15-minute break.
 
9. Green, leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, and collards, Salmon, tuna, and other oily fish, Eggs, nuts, beans, and other non-meat protein sources, Oranges and other citrus fruits or juices are help to reduce diabetes.
 
10. Always use sunglasses during the peak day time to protect your eyes from sunrays. Direct sunrays cause heavy damage to eyes.
 
11. Take a potato with its peel and apply on your closed eyelids for about 20 minutes and relax completely.

    12.  Apply cotton balls soaked in rose water on closed eyes for 15 minutes. This method is one of the most popular and easiest cures for dark circles.

13. Cucumbers work for tired eyes. Place two slices of cucumber over your eyes and rest for a while. It also helps to lighten dark circles.

14. Apply cooled tea bags over closed eyes. Do not uses herbal tea bags because most as effective as the black tea bags.

      15. Eye exams are not just for people experiencing changes in their visual acuity. An eye exam is an essential way to detect even the slightest changes to your eye health and it can also detect other systemic health issues such as glaucoma and diabetes before there are any symptoms.
